What do you REALLY want – Sympathy or Solution?
There are people who are always beset with problems – and cannot seem to get themselves un-stuck. These people have “poor me!” written all over them. They thrive on sympathy which fuels their woes, and gives them reason for remaining stuck.
When someone points out the solution to their problems, they resist it. Why? Because the solution might take away their problem – and together with that the reason to moan and groan, and extract sympathy from others!
The Law of Attraction states that the universe gives you what your heart truly desires. If a person is positive and wants solutions to his problems, his body will be tuned in to receive solutions, which could come from reading an article, overhearing a conversation between two people, or it could come directly to him in the form of friendly advice from a friend.
On the other hand a negative person only attracts things that will fuel his problems. This fuel could come from friends who form “pity parties” around him. The sympathies feel good; and the more he gets it the more he wants. But sympathy does not solve the problem at the root. The negative person is not able to recognise a solution when it comes his way, whether it is in the form of knowledge or information coming from authoritative sources, a wise friend or even a stranger who is able to separate diamond from the dross.
So the principle of LAT is that you get what you want – really want, that is.
But here’s the catch. Some people don’t REALLY know – or have not decided – what they want!
That’s why they send out the wrong signals – or mixed signals – and end up getting something else. For example some people don’t know the experience of being truly FREE. They “need” to constantly have problems with the house, with the children, with the maid. Because if they didn’t, they would feel empty and useless. Once their problems are solved, their hands would be free and they won’t know what to do with their free time – or with themselves. They may feel guilty for having nothing to do.
Without problems, a person will no longer have an excuse for his shortcomings and will have no one to use as a scapegoat for his failures.
We therefore need to dig deep into ourselves, to know what we really want out of life. Once head, heart and body agree on their life’s agenda, they together put out a strong signal to say “This is ME! This is the COLOUR OF MY HEART! This is what I WANT!”
Only then will they be able to attract like-minded people with similar interests, values and experiences. Birds of a feather flock together!

this article sounds familiar:)
but with a little twist!
which i could say..
This is ME!
so thank you, in a way this really reminded me
to get myself in line with what i really want to do with my life
Hahaha … but you’ll be pleased to know that you were NOT the inspiration for this story. This principle applies to everyone in equal measure. I think we just need to grow in awareness
